The Dublin chapter of BITA was founded in 2016 and has been growing ever since. They have members that represent a host of different industries, especially construction and tech.

The Dublin Christmas Networking Lunch is the highlight of the BITA Dublin calendar, and our members fly over from across the UK and Ireland to enjoy some festive Irish hospitality at the capital, and we host regular networking lunches at The InterContinental Hotel. In 2026, the Dublin chapter has chosen to support The B!G Idea Charity – The B!G Idea is a multi-award-winning all-Ireland education charity on a mission to unlock the creative potential of every young person. In a world changing faster than ever, they equip teenagers with the future-focused skills; curiosity, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving, that employers urgently need and communities depend on.

Delivered through their free EdTech platform, students from every background collaboratively take on real challenges affecting their lives, from mental health, climate action to inclusion, and develop bold, practical solutions that make a difference. Supported by mentors from leading industries, they gain the confidence, networks, and skills that open doors to opportunity.

More than 16,500 young people have already taken part, including those facing the greatest barriers. The B!G Idea is transforming access to creative education, changing trajectories and building Ireland’s most inclusive innovation pipeline, shaping a generation ready to imagine, create, build and lead a better future for all.
